Swapna Gudemella holds the Master of Performing Arts Degree in Kuchipudi Dance from the University of Silicon Andhra, CA, USA. She completed her Post Graduation in MSc (comp.sc), Osmania University, Hyderabad, India and also holds a General Management Program of Executives certificate from Institute of Management, Ghaziabad, India.

Swapna Ragaleena, the founder of Raagaleena Dance Academy in Dallas, Texas, USA. Daughter of Anuradha Bhagavatula and Vijay Kumar Panyam, has her roots in traditional Kuchipudi family (Bhagavatula) from her Maternal side. She started learning Kuchipudi Dance from the age of 4 under (teacher)Guru Sri Dr. Vedantam Ramalinga Sastry (Principal at Potti Sri Ramulu Telugu University, Sri Siddhendra Yogi Kuchipudi Kala Peetham, Kuchipudi, India). She gave her first stage performance at the age of 5 and achieved many accomplishments under the guidance of her teacher. She accompanied her teacher to all major events across India, where She played major roles in the Kuchipudi Nritya Rupakas (DANCE DRAMA) as

• Draupadi, Nartaki in NARTANASALA
• Parvathi, Ganapathi in Vinayaka Chavithi,
• Prahlada in Bhakta Prahalada. Received appreciation and special mention by then Education Minister at the age of 12.
• Lord Krishna, Radha, Goddess Lakshmi in Sri Krishna Vijayam to name a few which received both admiration and accolade.
• Her performances were not just appreciated but also achieved great accomplishments in the field of dance at St.Domnic's High School and was awarded "Pride of Domnics - 1995 & 1996" for two consecutive years for winning multiple competitions  
  representing her school.
• Swapna performed in front of Chief Ministers and Educational Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and also in Children Film Festivals held in Hyderabad in the years 1993 to 1996 During the Inauguration of their new school branch, she was honored and
  acknowledged as a Guest of Honor by her high school principal, Mr. P.S.Reddy. Her Post-Graduation Institute, Rishi UBR Women's College, honored her homage as well, welcoming her as a Guest of Honor.
• She is a Doordarshan Graded Artist and has had the privilege to attend Guru Sri Dr. Vempati China Satyam's Kuchipudi Workshop at Shilparamam, Hyderabad.
• As a versatile artist, Swapna worked in the field of television for over two years in Hyderabad, India, as an anchor for television channel shows and as a lead actor in television serials from 2002 to 2004.
• She won numerous competitions from her childhood and still believes there is a lot to be discovered. In her perception dance itself is a unique world of expression where words aren't enough and Kuchipudi dance is a beautiful blend of expression,
  grace and footwork that gives freedom to a dancer to convey herself either in traditional or contemporary forms but only possible with the foundation of strong technique.

Though traditionally rooted, Swapna is always anxious to learn and feel other dance forms than classical. From her childhood she enjoyed dancing to Semi classical and Indian fusion music and started composing & performing her own choreographies at school and college. She took part in famous telugu channel dance show "Dance Baby Dance" in her school days and won a prize for being versatile. She was the finalist for "DID Super Moms North America 2015" held in New Jersey and got her super wings to spread her dance all over the world. She learned Modern and Arial silks dance forms at Brookhaven collage in Dallas, Texas as a continuing Education student to experience the magnificence of other dance forms.
