Smt. Santhi Medicherla is an accomplished Carnatic classical vocalist in the Metro Atlanta area.  She completed her Master’s degree in music from Sri Padmavathi Mahila University, Tirupati and Bachelor’s degree in music from Sri Venkateswara College of Music and Dance, Tirupati.  She learnt classical music from renowned vidwans late Dr. Sri Mohan Rao, Dr.Sri Prapancham Sitaram, late Dr.Smt. M Suseela Janaki and Dr.Smt.Dwaram Lakshmi.  She also underwent special training in Annamacharya krithis under the guidance of Dr.Sri G Balakrishna Prasad.

Smt.Medicherla has been teaching Carnatic classical music in the US for nearly 15 years and has performed many classical music concerts across several US cities.  Prior to coming to the US, Smt.Medicherla was a music teacher at Navodaya Vidyalaya, Rajampeta in Andhra Pradesh.  She was a B-Grade artist on Doordarshan and All India Radio.  She was also a semi-finalist at the first season of the ETV Padutha Theeyaga competition.  She was also the lead singer on several devotional music private albums.
