Rajani Nayak is the Founder, Director, and Choreographer of Natyalaya School of Dance. She began her dance training at the tender age of 7 under Guru Smt. Manjula Ramaswamy, a recipient of the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi award and the founder of Sri Rama Nataka Niketan. Guru Smt. Ramaswamy is renowned for her expertise in the Tanjore Quartet style. Smt. Rajani Nayak began her teaching career in 2004 in El Paso, TX, where she established her own Bharatanatyam school. She choreographed numerous dance ballets, as well as classical, folk, and international dance styles, and her students performed across El Paso and Las Cruces, New Mexico. In 2020, she relocated to Frisco, TX, where she continued running her dance school. Her students have since showcased their talent at the TANA, NATA, and ATA conferences.
